Here at the Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council, we recently hosted our annual working retreat on Friday April 1st. Our theme? "Thinking, acting and changing like a movement". And did we ever!

While we work to intentionally create the ‘smart’ work outlined in this community plan, Smart on Crime in Waterloo Region will take a development approach to evaluating the work and activities. We recognize that issues change, problems and challenges are reshaped and evolve over time and new approaches are researched and tested to find the best, evidence-based way forward.
